The treasures of the Lodge are five architectural jewels, very close to each other, located in the heart of the city between Via Roma and the sea: the Oratorio del Rosario in San Domenico, the Oratorio del Rosario in Santa Cita, the Church of San Giorgio the Genoese, the Church of Santa Cita, the Church of Santa Maria di Valverde.
Valuable works of art of extraordinary Anton Van Dyck, Luca Giordano, Matthias Stom, Pietro Novelli, Filippo Paladini, James Serpotta. By the end of the thirteenth century, in the district of the Lodge, Genoa, Pisa, Venice and Amalfi had reached a settlement process with the construction of warehouses, stores, chapels and lodges merchant. Probably the name of the Lodge area was due to the presence of a lodge belonging to the nation of the Genoese, whose community of merchants had deep roots in the city. Even now the many squares in the old quarter reports testify to the intense life of churches and oratories of the past and have returned to be gathering places, both ecclesial and cultural.
